S400 Slipform Paver




The G&Z S400 Slipform Paver is an entry level paver with the ability to perform a multitude of paving applications including city streets, ramps, shoulders, highway & airport single or dual lanes, off-set, zero or minimum clearance and barrier walls. With the G&Z S400 'entry-level' doesn't mean 'entry-quality'. It has G&Z’s high quality and functional design delivered at a smartly economical price point which adds value to the user with its versatility, low operating cost, and productivity. Its power unit features an ultra-low emissions, quiet, fuel efficient, CAT C4.4, 174 HP (130 kW) four-cylinder diesel engine which is US EPA Tier 4f / EU stage V compliant while its unique hydraulic system design focuses on efficiency, lowest operating cost, and serviceability with emphasis on access to the pumps and filters. The diesel fuel tank and integral DEF tank are easily accessed off the end of the Power Unit enhancing operator visibility. The electrical and hydraulic filtration systems feature the latest components to ensure long life, reliability and enhanced troubleshooting and monitoring of hydraulic circuits flow, pressure, and filter condition. The S400’s narrow profile, multipurpose, double telescopic tractor frame and access walkway offers the widest telescopic range in its class of 6.5 to 17.5 ft. (2 to 5.3m) making it a perfectly suited for the multiple paving widths and tight confines found on today’s reconstruction jobsites. With bolt-in tractor frame extensions, the maximum paving width can be extended to 24.5 ft. (7.5 m) without a Dowel Bar Inserter (DBI) and 16 ft. (5 m) with a DBI. The S400 paver is available with G&Z's industry leading productivity features such as AccuSteer, Smartleg, VariWidth and TeleEnd which dramatically reducing the time required for maneuvering on site, load out, paving kit and tractor width change and reconfiguration. The S400 is supplied with the same proven, rugged paving kit design as G&Z's other larger pavers ensuring the highest quality product coming out the back.
