PS1200 Placer Spreader
G&Z’s four-track PS1200 Placer Spreader is the most productive concrete side-feeding solution on the market. The self-loading PS1200 transports in a single legal load without disassembly. Its jacking columns feature AccuSteer technology, delivering exceptional steering accuracy and unmatched maneuverability with 90° Steering Mode and Counter Rotation. The unique Roll-in/Roll-out Conveyor with 64" (1.63 m) belt unloads more trucks per hour than any Placer Spreader on the market today. The conveyor’s low-profile Receiving Hopper uses vertical hydraulic supports and a patented conveyor hinge system to stay in contact with the haul road, allowing material to be received from virtually any truck or trailer. A powerful, economical Spreader Plow / Strike-off System ensures a uniform pre-spread layer of concrete is left in front of the paver. Without a crane, Spreader Plow / Strike-off can quickly switch feed sides and retract against the tractor frame to reduce to within legal transport width. The PS1200 is powered by a quiet, fuel-efficient CAT C9.3B 415 HP (309 kW) six-cylinder diesel engine which is US EPA Tier 4f / EU Stage V compliant. The power unit emphasizes serviceability, with easy access to pumps, filters, fuel, and DEF tanks. Advanced electrical and hydraulic systems ensure long life, reliability, and simplified troubleshooting with real-time monitoring of flow, pressure, and filter conditions. The telescopic tractor frame provides spreading widths from 18 ft. (5.5 m)* to 41 ft. (12.8 m) with bolt-in frame and walkway extensions. A telescopic access walkway extends to a platform on the bolster, giving the operator excellent visibility of both the truck dumping and spreading operations.
