Load transfer dowels were placed at construction joints and at transverse joints where heavy equipment crosses the track. Pavement slope varied from 9° on the straight-of-ways to a maximum of 24° in the curves. |

Slipform was tied to off-road truck with special constant tensioning device to prevent Liner from slipping and to avoid adversely affecting the automatic steering.

Lower Liner trackline was built "level with the world" out of asphalt millings.

Liquification Hopper was arranged to allow chaired tie bars to pass through the hopper. Front of hopper raises to allow transverse dowel baskets to pass. |
Longitudinal joints were sawn by "soft cut" saws.
