G&Z is excited about the changes that have been made to this years paving school. Workshop formats are being revamped to increase individual participation, and we are expanding the number of outside speakers to compliment its internal line-up.

• Equipment Guidance Systems (Stringline vs. Stringless)
• Mix Design and Vibration
• Paver Hydraulics

• Smoothness Measurements
• Smoothness Measuring Devises
• Constructing Smooth Pavements
• Advanced Troubleshooting
• Operator Controls

In addition to G&Z’s half day workshops, there will be two full-day workshops offered in 2010: Advanced Troubleshooting and Operator Control System. The full day format provides more “one-on-one” time for each participant and total enrollment is limited to 12 participants per day. As a result, each company is asked to enroll only 2 participants in each full day workshop. Available extra seats will be distributed based on initial enrollment date.

 

Paving School officially opens with a Welcome Reception on Monday, March 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Participants can check-in Monday evening or Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM at the Ripon Community Center.

A registration packet with further information will be sent to each participating company.
