Heavy Equipment Service Technician: Responsible for field servicing of G&Z equipment as well as commissioning new G&Z equipment. Responsibilities will include the training of customer personnel in the safe operation and maintenance of G&Z equipment.

Frequent travel is required, both domestically and internationally. While not away performing field service tasks, technician will be working at G&Z's Ripon facility in the production and testing of machinery.

A minimum of five years experience in the maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of concrete slipform paving equipment is required. Formal training in hydraulics and/or electrical systems would be a plus. Minimum education: High School Graduate.

Experienced Machinist (minimum 10 years exp.) to set-up and operate manual Machine Tools including:
Engine Lathe
Horizontal Boring Mill
Vertical Mill
Horizontal Mill
Radial Drill
Drill Press
Must read blueprints, layout hole patterns and machining marks, read micrometers, and inspect parts to assure they meet specification.  Must be knowledgeable of appropriate speeds and feeds for various machines.  Must have own tools.

Swing shift work may be required.

Experienced Operators and Helpers (minimum 5 years exp.) for Plate Shop Tools:
Large CNC Press Brake (750 ton x 20’)
Small CNC Press Brake (230 ton x 12’)
Large Plate Shear (3/4” x 20’)
Large Plate Roll (3/4” x 12’)
Angle Iron Roll (4” x 4” x 1/2”)
CNC Oxy-Fuel Burning Machine (6 heads 8’ x 40’)
CNC Plasma Burning Machine (200 amp 8’ x 20’)
Must read blue prints.

Experienced Electrician in DC mobile electrical controls.  Systems employ PLCs and networked Microcontrollers as electro/hydraulic interface.  Assembly, wiring, installation and testing of systems is required.  Must also have experience in low and medium voltage AC control systems.  Assists with the assembly of other mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components.
