More than 75% of the canals in the Western United States have been built with Guntert & Zimmerman equipment. |
| Canal machinery is custom built to specific job requirements and can be designed to perform in a number of applications. In 1996, Guntert & Zimmerman equipment was selected by an international consortium of contractors to be used on the largest canal in the world. G&Z equipment was selected because of its superior technology and G&Z's years of experience in canal construction. The resulting machinery was selected in 1999 by ENR as "Best Project" |

Utilizing its superior engineering ability and the latest 3D and AutoCAD software, G&Z provides customers with high quality, state-of-the-art equipment. Using the latest automated operating systems, all G&Z equipment is thoroughly tested at the factory prior to shipment to the customer.
Because of the vast experience G&Z has to draw upon, a great number of options are available to customers in specifying specialty canal equipment. Field service personnel answers questions regarding the equipment's operating procedures; assist customers with job site start-up; and is available to return to job sites for assistance with special problems.
In addition to placing concrete, the Lining machines have been successfully used to place select backfill and drainage layers, both pervious and impervious, with or without water. Please contact G&Z for further details. |
